Ivanka Trump, Promoting Women’s Economic Empowerment in Peru

During trip to Latin America this week, Ivanka Trump will be promoting women’s economic empowerment and female-owned businesses.

Ivanka will be participating as part of the U.S. delegation to the summit of the Americas in Lima, Peru. The delegation is led by Vice President Mike Pence.

President Trump was scheduled to attend the event, but he decided to remain in the United States to monitor the current situation in Syria.

Ivanka will be highlighting women participating in the economy at an organic products business which is female owned.

While in Peru, Ivanka will be visiting Lima’s stock exchange and meeting with female entrepreneurs. She will also be announcing an initiative to propel women’s economic empowerment in the region.
