A lawsuit filed on Monday claims the Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC used state chapters to launder millions of dollars during Hillary’s run for president. Allegedly upwards of $84 million was laundered in an attempt to work around campaign donation limits.
In December 2017, the Committee to Defend the President (CDP) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission. The complaint claimed the Hillary Victory Fund sent money through state chapters and then back to the DNC eventually landing in the Clinton campaign bank account. The money was acquired from large donors.
The lawsuit filed against the Federal Election Committee on Monday, was filed by the CDP with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The lawsuit claims that the Federal Election Committee failed to act on filed complaints in December of 2017.
